Be careful on the journey of reading tea leaves, as hindsight is always 2020 vision.

FWIW, yes, a lot of stocks that are going through range levels tend to revert to a mean. And when those bollinger bands narrow to a small range, it many times leads to a breakout of the pattern away from the mean (increasing bands), but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be an upwards trajectory. Having said that, I think the next break will more likely be up then down when taking into account all the fundamentals that are happening at the moment.
