There are also significant supply chain deals happening to lock in elements for battery manufacturing, particularly the recent Tesla deal (graphite supply). It means those companies not making these great deals could be left behind holding their full bags of metals. Yes there will be demand, but companies are looking to secure their supply chains now, and this means some of the ships are already setting sail.
