Just an update on the current status of Van Eck Holdings.
It is probably fair to assume that without some formal news on the various positive initiatives that are in the pipeline that Van Eck may be forced to sell out of ASM at the next rebalance. If the current trading patterns continue the long term holders are at the mercy of the BOTS until we get some significant announcements. If Van Eck does have to sell down in a very limited period between rebalance notification and rebalance date then a potential buying opportunity in ASM for those who have faith in the company.

Those companies in this index who have been punching above their weight may also face a sell down at rebalance depending on where they are placed in the hierarchy.
