Interesting DOW movements over last few days?

A Death Cross occurs when 50 dma moves down decisively though an also falling 200 dma … a lag indicator for ongoing falls and in some cases a contrarian buy signal is nearing.

Prior to the start of last night’s US trading session, I had never seen so many Pennant Formations in such a wide range of indices.

In all cases above, both the 50 and 200 dma’s are still trending down after the US session just closed.

So, lag or lead indicator?
