Really not unusual at all.
People that check certain tenement grants daily are always able to buy stock after grant but before ASX ann.
Happens hundreds of times a year. Difference in this case and in a small % of others, is that this particular project grant is very, very price sensitive, because of what it adjoins, its magnetic structures on trend, and that it's in a small cap company where the additional value add to the market cap is significant.
Most new tenement grants aren't really price sensitive to a stock price.
