Companies that own ungranted projects have literally zero way way of finding out when their project/s are granted until the day it happens.
And that's only if someone within the company is checking each and every morning to see if today is the day or not.
ASN probably found out this late this morning or early this afternoon after being alerted by someone that read this thread
