The entire inferred resource was allowed, but ASN tried to use a resource that didn't exist on paper.
It was a shocking error of judgement by management, so the blame lies exclusively with them.
@Square is correct, except with a small recovery error.
The original PEA requires:
25 x 15,000 / .75 (recovery rate)
= 500,000 indicated & inferred required (original)
ASN had 192,000.
ASN's recovery rate has since improved to 90%+.
Therefore, the new minimum target for 15ktpa carbonate is 417,000 of LCE.
Things are looking up, so I agree about moving past that error, but with a critical eye on management who have much to atone for.
