I know my dad used to drill bores for farmers during the 80s for farmers in country Vic.
Never was the drilling the same- a mixture of clay, dirt, iron stone, soft rock, hard rock, etc, etc. Some days it would go like a dream and we’d make 50-100m in a day, then the next day you hit hard rock and you’d be changing the drilling tool continually and happy with 5 metres that day.
Never a day the same- and guess these guys would be a little the same- reckon everyday we’re a day closer though TT- so anticipation is building.
Then it may take quite a time for the results to be analysed- be interesting- must admit I haven’t thought too much about the process- just knew it’ll come when it’s available!
