The daily chart will clear the bulk of the noise and 8 months is sufficient a time frame to view the current trend. To satisfy you, let's look at 12 months then.
If you wish to use monthly charts for your ten timeframe go right ahead.
The daily combined with the weekly charts are most satisfactory for looking at trends, not 1 & 30 minute charts
