I concur 100% with your views, I wasn’t attempting to alarm anyone or change their view on a long held vision for the companies future
unfortunately or fortunately, whichever way it plays out , I think we’ll be rewarded, perhaps not as much as we would be for holding another 5 years or so -
think at $2 , most would be wrapped, for u in particular- u take $3.2 off the table but possibly leave $20 off- and that’s always the quandary with the takeover scenario- is where do u find another company to put $3.2 into that could turn to $20 in a few years later
I think the biggest issue atm is our register is full of retail, and most would be happy to get $1 , and every potential company would be licking their lips with such fickle holders
im with you - long term- but there’s not a lot we can do if it did eventuate , as I’m sure u would agree
I suppose also- depending on the structure, u could possibly consider taking a position in the acquirer for a longer position
