Hi SAAB. With reference to the US District Court decision (re Atherton vs Anson of 2020
https://casetext.com/case/atherton-res-llc-v-anson-res-ltd-2), I'm not a lawyer, but my take (supporting yours) is;
1. Atherton 2.5% "net smelter r eturn" royalty only applies to original Voyager claims (89 of the total 1230 Anson claims at the time of judgement).
2. Royalty on the land in perpetuity, - the Court decision dismissed this (agreeing with the Anson defence).
3. Sale of claims by Anson - Atherton would receive 2% of sale proceeds after expenses.
So unless this went back to court again, and there was a new judgement, the value of the Trident deal may possibly be overstated.
