Sunresin have stated that other than proprietary membranes to extract lithium it also uses a proprietary SMB "Simulated Moving Bed" in its design flow which ASN have replicated in their small scale plants . What is it you might ask well I don't really know I guess it's some sort of mechanism that separates or helps to dislodge the Mg Na and K from the membrane but honestly I don't know some one that would is Navin Gupta and there's another bloke also just can't remember his name atm apologies......
