All the talk about sodium batteries the focus of these are for micro vehicles or scooters not full sized vehicles.

'Sodium-ion batteries are expected to play an essential role in the battery mix in the future. Their best-case use is stationary energy storage, two-wheelers, and entry-level EVs. They are cheaper than LFP, don’t need lithium, and perform better in winter conditions. On the other hand, they have lower energy density.'

Solid State Li batteries in mid and large size vehicles with 1200+ km range is what I consider a game changer for the EV market.

Who knows we're things will end up but one thing is for sure sodium will always have lower energy density than Lithium.
