I don't believe it's guesswork but I think errors occur, same as in FA. It's also about the experience of the technical analyst. For me where I fail is where there is a new pattern. If a pattern has already occurred on another stock then the share price pretty much copies and pastes.

Yes the channel is in play but I also agreed that there was a small rise. It's the current intersection where I disagree that the share price will continue to rise. I guess it's just a matter of watching the share price and seeing what happens.
