Fair play to you, apology accepted. Yes, I am a Brit, and I thought that it should not go unmarked …. I don’t speak as someone with expert knowledge of Gallipoli or the War, but obviously Britain suffered great casualties and was key to the war effort…. and I was offended on behalf of those that gave their lives. My Dad was in the Air Force, but I know little about his life in the War… things weren’t so open then. I thought here we go another rewrite of History in the spirit of Captain Cook. I also realised soon after that people are free to say anything they like, and they won’t step into censor, no matter what is said. This isn’t the place to enter into a debate about History, and you wouldn’t start shooting an unarmed man (me) in that Department. You got a few likes, I presume for the ASN-related material.
I know from previous posts you are a plain speaker, but I’ve learnt something, not to get worked up by what someone says on the Internet. That is my problem. Again, no expert on ASN, but I am on the ASN team…. Go ASN!
