Amanda Lacaze, CEO of Lynas attended a 'state dinner' at the White House late last year, she was one of the 'privileged' to get invited, so definitely something happening in that sense but we haven't seen anything improve since in the outlook for Lynas - other than Ghina Reinhart buying a 5%+ stake in both Lynas and Molcorp.
I am not getting it? Both Lynas and Anson can potentially get loans from the DOE and there is no need to cosy-up, certainly not to this extent.
My understanding is Australia will be a partner with the USA going forward on the supply of minerals and again no need for these guys to be involved at this level. (Bruce & Amanda).
It just seems odd - either we are seeing things way in advance of them happening or ??? Any ideas?
