i would say nothing is economically viable in these conditions unless your a long time operator with the asset paid off and a massive market share who can absorb the losses amongst a larger business.. AGY OPEX was supposedly around US$4645 per ton which is pretty similar to ASN DFS OPEX, if AGY cant even make a profit on 2000t these days when the capex was only like 6 million bucks then its pretty damning on just how bad pricing currently is, hopefully ASN pivot over to yellowcat and start some exploration there, think thats probably a better bet than the AU projects but for now lithium is dead, we can get those projects shovel ready so to speak but i dont think anything is gonna happen with them until prices recover unfortunately
