Trump wants joint ventures with China, to keep jobs in America. Like with the Japanese, if you can't beat them you need to join them. They are so much more advanced in EV tech/batteries it would take a mammoth task to kill their industry, when the CCP are invested in it so much.Ive heard EV hitting 90% uptake on new cars in China . Is this true? But then again $15,000 grand a car would be hard to match...
So either Trump or Harris....don't think it will matter that much. Market forces are too big to stop sometimes. Like banning all Toyota cars now...! Not going to happen
