that’s an unsubstantiated claim. If you read financial news you will regularly see shorting funds coming out and boasting about their short positions.
their is a difference between people critiquing and or past shareholders who are disgruntled to shorters and that definition is important, because one has no financial interest and the others have presumably done extensive research to build a position , I wouldn’t be putting that kind of weight on people who your not certain have a financial interest
