Interesting that Albermarle has taken a leaf out of PLS book and not contracting all of their lithium out- letting the market decide the price- and this has made a big difference to their recent profits.
Thats where I don’t mind that ASN seems to be shopping around and getting best offtakes- and I wouldn’t tie it all in contracts- not when long term there’s expected deficits.

I agree
contract out only as much is required to get financing/ capital to derisk the build and associated costs and leave the rest for the spot market
