For the grant to be granted, it has to be spent within a specified timeframe.
That's why ASN did not apply for one. Thats my understanding based on the AZL CEO presentation.
AZL is also in the USA but it did not bother applying for the grant either given its current state of progress.
Unlike NVX which already built a manufacturing facitlity or Lilac which already has some sort of facility; both applied and received the grants and they are both ready to spend them now.
So I do not believe ASN is not eligible for the grant due to any sort of theory that it is because of Sunresin or its largest shareholder is Chinese. But because of the requirements that come with the grant.
