I think it makes sense , why rush today to sign 10k when within a month or so , can sign 25k ?? - and I suppose that depends on the amount of upfront payment from offtake partner , whereby if they are putting up the upfront coin , I doubt they would be too happy for another Party to come in and secure 10/15k tonnes without putting any coin in upfront.
Maybe who says it's just a contract? The longer it takes, the further the financing and the possible start of construction are postponed!
