Battery grade is rare as hens teeth in the USA but it will not be in Canada. Canada is essentially going to provide the local lithium supply and reduce the Chinese dominance. Local US supply can never provide the supply security, that is just fact.

ASN being in the U.S is great but the only genuine advantage from that is the proximity to the buyer. Canadian lithium comes with all the same perks as a US supplier.

I do get your point, the early bird does get the worm. I still stick by my theory that the weak li price and sentiment does make striking the good deal a bit harder at the moment with the poor macro to boot. I also think in the end ASN will get the rewards it deserves.
