Exactly, though patience is tough for many, especially retail investors. I'd say the number one reason why retail fails to outperform the market on average is that they lack the ability to be patient and sell due to short term noise and share price movements, both of which have zero relevance to the future of this gem 
Just buy and hold imo - don't let the noise distract you from your original investment thesis
