You do know what shorts are don’t you? Just because SP goes down doesn’t mean shorts are up- as TT stated- the shorts on ASN are pretty low and haven’t really increased.
Rise in shorts often associated with increased Insto accumulation.
Check out PLS & CXO, they’ve got a problem with shorts…

CXO- 13%
ASN- negligible at 1.5%
