I have pulled together as best I can the comparisons between both projects. However, we know ASN has other projects so a like for like comparison is not all that easy. Anyway, the potential for greater SP appreciation is clearly Anson. As I have stated a number of times, there is no lithium project in their PEA. What we need is the results from the re-entry, we need a resource upgrade (as well as what i suspect will be a li concentrate upgrade from 123 to hopefully over 200) and a revised PEA, we need an announcement for an offtake arrangement for bromine. We also need the battery results. Once we start ticking these boxes, the MC could quite easily double and then double again. I wouldnt mind knowing what the plan is for LS and their unused finance of ~$14.7m. Something could be brewing here...maybe.
In January, nearly all small cap lithium, cobalt, nickel, graphite etc etc companies had announcements indicating some kind of acceleration on exploration. Many of them raised capital. Share prices jumped across the board. These companies now need to execute these drilling and exploration programs. I am hopeful ASN is busy doing just that. At the moment we are just seeing the SP float, and during these holding patterns, excitment wanes, pple chasing easy money bail and the SP in some cases drifts south. Many of those companies who raised equity will come out with a flurry of info in the 2nd qtr. Those who dont have announcements will likely see their SP drift lower and may be a sign of poor drilling results or difficulty in executing their programs. For now, its just a waiting game. My bet is that we will see ASN on the front foot.
