Can someone please shed some light on how to calculate whether you should convert options or sell options?
If they normally trade at parity based on the exercise price, does that mean that the price difference between ASN and ASNOB is just the exercise price so there is no abitrage? And if that's the case then is it just a decision of if u want to reduce your exposure to ASN by selling? Vs. paying 2.5c per share and increasing your stake in ASN? i.e. is it a decision if you just want more or less shares in ASN, but your profit % is the same either way?
Or....does it depend on what price you think ASN will get to, that will dictate a profit % which will help influence a decision to convert or sell options?
