    Great news for Nickel cathodes and overall Nickel adoption in EV’s. This address issues in NCM and in a way that is scalable and affordable.

    Solving the degradation issue unlocked 20% increased ranges will a full charge cycle. NCM range will increase by 20% over existing figures which are already leading market.

    IMO both NCM and LFP will be required to serve different applications, much like petrol and diesel engines. Both will see sustained growth in future.

    Fundamentally Nickel is the best element / option available due to its energy density / weight ratio but due to external factors such costs and technology and Chinese manufacturing ability to ramp up faster than Western companies LFP increased marketshare recently, but this will happen, then NCM will have a breakthrough, then back to LFP breakthrough as both continue to advance towards market expectations.

    Nickel and NCM hold the key chemistry advantage over LFP and as external factors such as cost is reduced in line with scalability and supply the adoption of NCM vehicles with higher energy density, longer range, competitive prices, long life cycles will continue to grow IMO.
