Great news for those interested in the Battery chemistry space.
Long story short, successful and meaningfull improvements in the electrolyte chemistry that can improve cycle life of lithium ion batteries with Nickel cathodes by as much as 3 times.
Nickel cathodes still have plenty of opportunity to improve with technical advances such as single crystal for structual integrity increasing physical longevity aswell as chemical advances such as PDO improvments.
Great news for those interested in the Battery chemistry space....
