I uderstand that and quite frankly it's a given so it doesn't really phase me. However all of that is at a political level - it's a huge jumpt to accept that they they can strong-arm the judiciary.
Our judiciary ignores the government regularly - last week ruling that Aid/Watch was a charity, for instance.
I am amazed that the British legal system has jailed this guy on those "charges" on the known evidence - with no bail?
