When I originally started this thread, it was precisely for discussion on the resource, hence the title, and not on all the other stuff that seems to clog up so many threads. If you want to discuss other companies, TO, JV share price etc etc, please take it to another thread and leave this one to discussion about the resource.
I'm as frustrated as anyone about lack of further info to discuss here, due to delay in assays, but having one thread just devote to the resource enables all those that want to discuss our lithium and tin to find all the good info in one place, without having to sort through thousands of posts.
Our next real discussion in this thread will be when we have the next set of assays, even though it is only for 3 holes, but every extra piece of the puzzle will be greatly received by all.
As holes 9-12 are not yet at the lab, but (expected next week), then in my experience those ones will take a further 3 weeks for us to get assays. I base this on when I put assays into labs over the last couple of years (Nagrom) and from delivery and all paperwork complete, it took 17 days on one occasion and 18 days on the other to be emailed results. The lab told me at the time of delivery they were not busy so should take just over 2 weeks.
As AVZ will be delivering 20 times the number of samples in each batch, I cannot expect the returned assays, plus the company's time to write up the report, to take less than 3 weeks from delivery to the lab.
We know 6,7 and 8 are at the lab, but do not know when they got there, so sometime in the next 2-3 weeks max for them (hopefully next week!!), but 9-12, that are not there yet, after 20th June.
Going on the time frame for both Altura and Pilbara from last drilling to their resource upgrades, it seemed to take nearly a month from last assays in. IMHO that pushes out our 20,000m initial JORC to at least late September, as per Wombat2's suggestion yesterday.
