Funny you should say that. I reckon Joshua Pitt has a bit of Ali about him.

When Pitt was working for Dalrymple Resources back in the late 1980s, he discovered the Gossan Hill copper orebody with some lateral thinking.

The Scuddles zinc-copper orebody was discovered years later thanks to the persistance of Pitt and the Dalrymple team. The story goes that Scuddles was previously drilled by another company, but their geo didn't drill deep enough, finding intensely leached, pallid zone clays within lateritised cover. The Dalrymple boys diamond drilled deeper below the regolith & discovered the orebody. Reckon Pitt must be feeling a sense of deja vu drilling through the weathered zone.

Interestingly, in 1996, Dalrymple teamed up with LionOre on the Wildara project. Two years later, Thunderbox (a gold resource of 2 million ounces) was discovered. LionOre's Chief Geo at the time was Dr. Mark Bennett, MD & CEO of Sirius.

Of course, the value is in the resource, not management, but still, nice pedigree, Pitt. Definitely a bit of Ali about him.
