I totally see that scenario but there is nothing wrong with alerting the regulator so that everything is done properly. PT is human and while facing commercial realities he is still capable of serving self-interest.
I would like to think it was the best thing that could be done in the circumstances to assure ADY's future but I have no way of knowing if there is conflict of interest...the regulator can get closer to knowing that than me.
