This is really the car manufacturer, bypassing the battery maker and saying I will secure your supply for you to ensure you are not impacted in delivering my batteries. This is General Motors guarantee that it will receive its fair share in supply of batteries from LG who of course has the ability to be making batteries more broadly for all other automakers
