I am no expert of the technical side of this project, but I have done due diligence speaking with those that are. I spoke to a colleague of mine who has project managed about $32 billion of construction in the oil/gas/resource processing sector, and his comment to me after viewing the information available was they (QPM) have engaged quality partners, in particular Hatch, with regards to the processes involved. As an engineer he said it is very difficult to give a definitive answer on the operational aspects of the DNI process, but he believed the individual components were already proven. 'Bolting' them together is complex, but not necessarily problematic. Any project of this magnitude has risks, but at this stage I put my faith in the professionals involved. QPM management has given us no reason so far to doubt they are being thorough. Yes, I concede some are concerned about the timelines, but my contact with management probably gives me a better expectation of such. With regards to your comment on remote location, and need for FIFO, that is not the case. The location of the TECH hub was chosen carefully because of its location/proximity to Townsville, access to local infrastructure and employment pool. I've been there, it's not far from Townsville at all. Appreciate your comments, there is risk in all projects and this is a big project, but I put faith in the experts involved, and my own due diligence, and discount a lot of arm chair HC analysis!
