The number of models qualifying has really dropped.

IMO this may offset the reduction in sales from qualifying models when buying outright, and maintain the rate of EV uptake as leased vehicles are generally turned over quicker than purchased ones.

QPM has taken the long term strategy of aligning itself with IRA-compliant partners with a US automaker whose EV models are based on the Ultium battery platform which of course is a collaboration between two of our offtake partners LGES and GM.
Korean battery makers are heavily invested and at the cutting edge in nickel-rich battery chemistries.
Looks like the next Ultium plant in Spring Hill TE is readying for production, so perhaps the platform's delays are receding:

HI @ Mtnmusic, I should have expanded my post at it related to critical minerals as per attached info...however I have to concede there is some confusing info out there. Anyway all of this news has to be great for processing minerals and mining outside of China's sphere of influence.
