There is an AUS-BIZ interview with SG just after the GM announcement. He mentions the GM deal is worth $20-25 billion over the life of the project. That is only GM, then there is LG and POSCO. If they can de-risk and already have 100% off take, a $2 billion build for plant 1 is pocket change.
