Recent news snippets IMO building a more positive outlook for QPM:
* Incredible 'green' investment rulebook revision in Indonesia this week categorising existing and new coal-fired power plants used in nickel facilities as part of the global transition to a green economy:

Big ESG fail; good luck with supplying to the EU!
* Our offtake partner GM has hired Kurt Kelty, ex-Tesla and Sila exec as VP of Batteries. His remit is to lead:
GM’s battery cell strategy and a new end-to-end approach. This will include the use of raw materials, research, developing and investing in new technology, commercialization of cells and packs, and end of life opportunities. His team will be responsible for a critical piece of GM’s electrification strategy, bringing together the company’s already robust battery development resources with industry expertise to more quickly deliver profitable, lower-cost, higher performing electric vehicles to customers at scale.
The Sila role is particularly interesting to me, bringing experience in silicon anodes to potentially help GM to keep its packs leading edge in energy density and fast charging.
* Yabulu pulled another all-nighter yesterday, and generated over $400K in revenue.

* IMO its worth re-watching SG's Elevator Pitch preso from AMBC's Australia Battery Day in Sept23.
Clarifies the project's scale, its associated benefits to Townsville and the State/federal coffers, as well as highlighting our alignment with multiple government strategies:
* Today saw a Collaboration Agreement to build a complete manufacturing supply chain, from mining to energy storage for vanadium flow batteries at the 'other' Townsville business park: https://statements.qld.gov.au/statements/99762
The Premier's quote is pertinent to QPM:
“Today’s announcement shows how our 75% emissions reduction target by 2035 secures investment in new blue-collar clean economy jobs across our regions.”
The QPM TECH Project would also be a perfect representation of that reduction target.
