It's rare to see two high days in a row because it normally only happens due to unexpected circumstances. The big generators have lots of off the books contracts they activate on the following day in preparation of another spike (i.e. they'll call a site with backup generators and ask them to start up, which frees up power supply they can sell to the grid) but that then normally means there's enough extra capacity available to pull back from $17.5k.
