So some of you guys are offended by QPMe calling out 20x the amount flared vs the amount gainfully used. And you think it’s the governments fault they have underreported their emissions?! And tax dollars should be allocated to fix this..
Wow, I know this is the typical Aussie default position these days.. “I’m offended, it’s not my fault and now where’s my money?” But this doesn’t fit the image I have of the hardy no nonsense Australian coal miner. I think they can take a little criticism where it’s due.
And on other note, if summer is anything like it’s been in the northern hemisphere this year, then Australia is going to swelter. You’ll be happy to have some of that gas (that’s helping to heat the planet) powering the air conditioners to keep your rooms cool.
