Well "The Real Cost of Net Zero", suggests:

    1. Australia is not looking at the total picture
    2. Fossil Fuel generation/consumption can be a lot cleaner with modern carbon capture techniques
    3. Demand is now & growing fast - Nuclear timelines won't fill the gap by many a year!
    4. Govt. is ignoring the data, surely it's the data that s/be driving demand
    5. Current distribution & grid lacks capacity & needs renewing/upgrading

Looks like we need a Bi-partisan Govt. action to get most people/decision makers on the same page - in-action, ignorance, idealism over the past 20 plus years isn't going to get us there!

Meanwhile, the likelihood of Gas fired peak power generation should reward those companies with the ability to create power instantly s/be well placed to gain from this quagmire of a situation Australia's energy generation structure appears to be in with little end-sight suggesting things might change near-term!?

What level of income might QPM generate filling the peak power needs of the grid during these tumuluous times?
