It's funny when people think it's sinister or dubious when people 'come out of the woodwork' when things improve.

The fact that I immediately dumped this like the hot potato it was only says I knew what I was doing. The people who have been around the whole time between then and now abused and ridiculed me for doing so, and spent the next two years being burned. Sure, I could have spent the next year telling holders how they should be selling, but a year of being abused by bitter people didn't seem like sufficient reward.

I did consider posting around 6 months ago, but folks like you make comments like this, casting doubt over motives etc when non holders post, and while still being a non holder my interest in the company was limited.

I posted after buying back, I suppose largely because my interest in the company suddenly picked right up as a result. And right on cue, I have someone cast doubt over my motives because I wasn't bothering with a company while it would have burned me and only came back when it was in my judgement most likely to reward me. I was clearly correct about selling out, and hopefully I'm right about buying back in.

The culture of only believing and following permabull holders is not a helpful one. It's appropriate for family members, close friendships, your football club etc, but unless you have similar loyalty to a company, it makes no sense here. If your goal is to make money on the stock market, surely it makes sense to follow the people who chose to get out decisively when the picture turned bad and came back when things turned around.

But, hey, honestly, if people want to cast doubt in my motives or accuse me of ramping/downramping or generally be idiots, I'm perfectly happy not to bother taking part in the conversations here. The QPM area doesn't hold a monopoly on stupid Hot Copper conversations.
