But production tax credits suddenly could make all Aust nickel processors 10% or whatever the rate is, better value.
Certainly would make the DFS numbers juicier and easier to get FID over the line.
Don't rule out the QLD govt in providing some extra assistance to get QPM underway and Lansdown to kick off.
And the local critical minerals industry moving downstream will probably provide the same or better employment as our AUKUS submarines, at a fraction of the cost. Interesting few weeks ahead and budget incoming!
