@piwi33, I agree it's super expensive ($1.2B in 2021 dollars) and is not a reality.
Particularly as none of the QPME talk to date mentions export of gas.

A tough week with a lot of negative talk, dragging up Khoo's decade old transgression, and some passionate holders leaving upon resumption of trading.
In the end, the SP has stabilised, with more who recognise short-mid term gas opportunities entering the register.

Was the CR that much of a surprise?
I saw this release from the 22-April only after the TH announcement, and it gave me a different perspective on the quarterly and gas pivot releases:

It seems it was all there in plain sight. You need money to make money.

Those who have teed off at another study - I can understand after the AFS story, but really, it underpins the plans to up the power generation out of Moranbah; you can't build that stuff unless the studies and engineering have been done prior.

What I've been expecting to see is more news around the Carbon Abatement Hub, as it seemed to be front and centre upon the acquisition, has now got all its approvals in place for pipelines and facilities, and would presumably supersede the Lansdown Low Energy Hub's progression.

Also anticipating news on hooking up North Goonyella, Wards Well and Iron Bark which underpinned that strategy, and which seems to tie in with the CR's production and market growth stream commentary.

Final thought. Just as the TECH was leading edge ESG-wise, I'd have thought we're well placed to both beat the drum and capitalise from the recognition that gas for the industrial sector is required for longer during the world's energy transition / steelmaking still requires coking coal (but lets make it cleaner) / Safeguard Mechanism is that cleaner prompt / Bowen Basin has a high concentration of met coal mines (and fugitive emissions):

Expect DW to keep his closing words "...There are many milestones ahead of us in the coming months and we look forward to sharing our progress"
