gcadenaz brought up economic viability in previous thread
I thought I'd start another thread on this topic given it is pretty crucial to the success of EVM

If the reported costs and output are correct
then the proposed towers are extremely viable
Especially given this tech comes with "storage" and is frugal with water
Possibly game changing in power generation if proven.
And it would have to undershoot by a lot before it is not viable

The construction costs can be pretty well pinned down I would think. That is, they can be estimated fairly well
However I would think the power output would be the biggest unknown. Yet it is based on classical physics.
However I imagine turbulence could be an issue.
I'm sure EVM must have researched/modelled this but have not heard much on this
Butcherboy, did you study in physics ? (I seem to remember)
Do you or anyone reading have an idea of how reliable are power output estimates ?
