Czechs Extend Uranium Mining as Demand for Nuclear Fuel Grows - Bloomberg
The Czech government extended operations at the only active uranium mine in the European Union, after demand for fuel used in nuclear power plants increased and prices soared. The government in Prague today approved a proposal by Industry Minister Martin Riman to allow state-owned miner Diamo SP to keep exploiting the Rozna mine in the southeast beyond 2008. The plan also calls for a geological survey to determine if a deeper deposit exists at the site. The approval was announced by Riman at a press conference after a session of the ministers.

So what does this mean? They can 1. keep the mine open and 2. explore for more... presumably without a jv with URA.
