Glad we have some views in common jevalent so at least we can have a reasoned debate on where we disagree and then just 'agree to disagree' on pleasant terms though this will be my last post here now I promise, as everyone has had the chance to express their views.

To address your question: most of the quotes I have seen by competent professionals with appropriate expertise in endocrinology and weight loss trials have been by people linked with MBP hence that is a real concern because of issues of conflict-of-interest and true impartiality, but please correct me if you know of a plethora of independent positive quotes, but I do add the disclaimer that the quotes need to be coming from scientists with appropriate expertise in the field of endocrinology or weight loss trials, not analysts or consultants to MBP. Also, scientists do not always agree and that applies in most things, so I am only giving my view which has is a valid scientific rationale and analysis for my conclusion, rather than just 'sound bites' from equal experts that may lack qualifications in their conclusions that were never reported. Finally, my posts are not one person's in isolation - they are shared widely in my professional scientific network of people who have no connection with MBP and no vested interest in MBP succeeding or failing.

    Over and out.
