Tin hats on, as scientists upgrade asteroid threat

If the sky falling on your head was not previously on your list of doomsday concerns, scientists have what could literally be Earth-shattering news.

In an announcement likely to be welcomed by few beyond the tin-hat industry, astronomers admit that the risk of a major asteroid strike on our planet has until now been underestimated and could be up to ten times greater than previously thought.


Now it's inflamed my hemorrhoids.
