wasthinking about it over the weekend about situations where this app and the final gen2 technology (and actual wheezeometer for that matter) would be helpful. people say if you manage your asthma you manage your asthma. true to an extent.
an example. my daughter has type 1 diabetes and she also gets viral induced asthma. generally if she gets a cold it could flare up and bring on the asthma. it starts with a bit of coughing etc and gradually builds up to potentially a hospital visit. because she doesn't have asthma attacks like a usual asthma sufferer this technology would help us to identify if she just has a cough or whether it is somehow related to an oncoming asthma attack and deal with it before it gets to hospital level. so having said that i guess we will be a user.
as a matter of interest has anyone downloaded the app considering we probably have 000's invested i wonder if we have forked out the $4 to check out what our investment has got us so far?
