Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia have suspended the AstraZeneca "vaccine rollout". Italy and Austria have suspended certain batches. Thailand is the first Asian country to also halt the inoculations.

An Irish health chief has also called for the AstraZeneca vaccine to be suspended following reports of serious post-jab blood clots in Norway and the death of a teacher in Italy.
